THE SOUND of our native Argyll tongue will be heard once again.
The small team at Dalriada Gaelic has been working to collect evidence for the dialect of Bute, Cowal and Mid-Argyll over the past seven years in order to revive it as a spoken tongue.
Now it is time to hear the local dialect used in the community again as it was for many centuries leading up to the Second World War as a weekend-long immersion course is held at Auchindrain Museum.
