At current prices, a Jetta makes being dull seem oddly appealing
I’ve just been writing about the originalVolkswagen Jetta, which seemed pointless in a hatchbacked 1980s when in fact there was a significant worldwide demand for three-box saloons. As I have a big-booted car back in my garage, I have a new-found appreciation for the beauty and practicality of compact, bustlebacked vehicles. Not only that, but they’re also great value.
