Hello Bake & Decorate friends and welcome to our March issue. Spring is in the air at last, and Easter is upon us which is a very egg-citing time indeed! It’s always been my absolute favourite time of the year because we get to enjoy time off, gather with friends and family and, of course, eat plenty of chocolate. I hope you’re looking forward to it too!
I’ve been busy baking, caking and doing lots of lovely recipes on This Morning and looking ahead to the new season’s cakes and bakes. At this time of year, I love to come up with new Easter treats, and this month I’ve shared a delicious no-bake tiffin recipe that you can make using any of your favourite chocolates, and also some Easter nest biscuits with a twist. My nests are made with a Viennese whirl base, so they are wonderfully crumbly and rich. They work so well for nests as you can pipe them with a star nozzle. They make lovely gifts too if you wrap them up in little cello bags or boxes. I hope you will give them a go and that you enjoy baking from this month’s issue, and I look forward to seeing you in April!
Do get in touch if you have any baking-related questions or any photos of your bakes to share! You’ll find me on Instagram @julietsear, over on TikTok @julietsearbakes and there’s plenty of ‘how to’ videos with loads of cake decorating and baking tips over on my Youtube channel.
Happy Baking! Juliet xx
