CAMPBELTOWN lifeboatmen were called out twice in one day this month.
The town’s all-weather lifeboat launched on April 17 at 2.22pm to assist a woman and three children cut off by the tide on Davaar Island. Later the same day, the inshore lifeboat was launched at East Loch Tarbert at 5.40pm to transport police searching an area inaccessible by land. The task finished at 9pm.
