Canadian Cowboy Country  |  April/May 2024
The April/May 2024 issue of Canadian Cowboy Country magazine features famed bit and spur maker Richard Brooks, our Living Legend is Canadiana vaquero, Miles Kingdon, and our feature story is Corb Lund, who wears many hats, including singer, songwriter and activist against the coal mine once again proposed for the Eastern Slopes.
Rural crime is on the rise, and television producer Geoff Morrison has created a series entitled Farm Crime that delves deep into the whole story, not just the headlines.
And, for almost every Canadian who is a descendant of a Royal Canadian Air Force veteran, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of this organization that barnstormed the prairies and helped save the world.
In keeping with our high-flying theme, we also feature retired Air Force pilot turned rancher Adam Kaine in What Works For Us, a look at how individual ranchers make things work on their place.
And finally, we introduce our new fashion column, Common Threads, featuring one of our favourite gals, Brittney Chomistek. (Pronounced KO miss tik). All this and more in the latest issue of Canadian Cowboy Country.
