Listening to nine CDs exploring Aztec Camera’s world, it’s hard not to feel a pang of regret.
That’s not because 1983’s widely acclaimed Rough Trade debut album High Land, Hard Rain is missing from this boxset, though it would have been welcome.
Instead, it’s because mastermind Roddy Frame’s superb songwriting deserved better.
