Redact words in PDFs
Version 9.1 of OnlyOffice, released in October, lets you redact sensitive information in PDFs. First, update to 9.1 by clicking About at the bottom left of OnlyOffice’s main page followed by ‘Check for updates’. Install any that appear.
Next, open a PDF in OnlyOffice’s PDF Editor then click Edit PDF ( 1 in our screenshot). Now click Redact 2 at the top followed by ‘Mark for Redaction’ 3 . Highlight the text you want to be redacted then click Apply Redactions 4 . A black bar will appear across the text 5 . There are also options for redacting entire pages and for finding specific words to redact.
