How can I download and run Affinity?
Q I have been trying to get Affinity to download on my Windows 10 PC as you suggested in Issue 726’s How To (page 35), but there’s no MSI/EXE (X64) option, so how do you get that file? My setup doesn’t have an MSI installer app available, so the offered file for Windows won’t install.
Affinity does install on my other (Windows 11) PC, but in Windows 10 it simply goes round and round in the same window trying to log in. Any thoughts?

A Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It appears Affinity has altered its installers since we recommended it in Issue 726. If you click ‘Download for Windows’ on Affinity’s download page (www.snipca.com/57565), then choose ‘Windows (Intel/AMD)’, the file you’ll now receive is an ‘.msix’ installer. This is supported by 64bit editions of Windows 10 from version 1709 onwards, but it won’t install on 32bit editions of Windows. So, if your PC is running a 32bit edition of Windows or your version of Windows 10 is older than 1709, the installer won’t work. You can check both of these under Start, Settings, System, then About.
