IN THE PLANET KEMBEL IN THE YEAR 4000, THE Daleks have brought together an alliance of alien powers. They plan to use their new super-weapon, the Time Destructor, to ravage and then conquer the Solar System, starting with Earth. Arriving on Kembel, the Doctor, Steven Taylor and Katarina meet Space Security agent Bret Vyon, who is unsuccessfully trying to warn Earth of the Dalek threat. The Doctor infiltrates the Daleks’ base and steals the energy source for the Time Destructor – the ultra-rare mineral taraniun, provided by human traitor Mavic Chen, Guardian of the Solar System.
