Psychologist and thinking woman’s coach, Jessica helps us to find balance in our lives and flourish at work. ‘We think of Christmas as a 12-day celebration, so there’s less pressure on one day being perfect. Pleasure comes in three parts: the anticipation, the event and remembering afterwards. I enjoy the build-up by buying presents and discussing what activities we might want to get up to from the end of October. I also try hard not to compare our family to others because I’ve found that upsetting in the past – I get on with being grateful instead.’
