In the biggest roll call of royals since the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Queen was joined by three generations of her family beneath the historic dome of St Paul’s Cathedral in London for a moving ceremony celebrating her 90th birthday.
At the start of a long weekend of official birthday festivities, on Friday the monarch and the Duke of Edinburgh – who was celebrating his 95th birthday – were joined by 53 members of the royal family, including all eight of their grandchildren, at t h e N a t i o n a l S e r v i c e o f Thanksgiving.
