Aurelia has played an important role in Heidi’s pregnancy, announcing the gender of the new arrival to her delighted parents
Laughing, cuddling and posing together for adorable photographs on our exclusive hello! photoshoot, former Sugababes star Heidi Range and her daughter clearly share a very special bond. And soon, there will be a new addition to their girl band - as we can exclusively reveal that Heidi is pregnant and expecting a baby sister for three-year-old Aurelia.
Due on 13 August, the new baby’s arrival will be extra precious as the singer and her property developer husband Alex Partakis have struggled for 18 months to conceive. “We’re delighted to be having another baby,” Heidi says, smiling. “We’re both over the moon. Aurelia has been asking for a brother or sister every day.”
Aurelia even told her parents the baby’s sex after she cut into a specially made cake to reveal pink sponge inside, a surprise arranged by Alex’s PA.
“Alex and I didn’t know the sex ourselves,” Heidi says. “We sat with Aurelia and told her she was going to be big sister. We said we didn’t know if it was going to be a girl or a boy, but that she was going to cut the cake and tell us the colour.
