GIFs have long proven to be a popular way to engage with others on social media. They let you convey all manner of emotions, from anger to laughter, and they’ve become something of a creative artform, since they were invented 35 years ago by Stephen Wilhite, who sadly passed away in March.
But what if you want to create your own? Well, Twitter has added a feature to its iOS app that allows you to do just that. Just tap a few buttons, record a short video and share, to quickly show off something you’ve done. Or, create a GIF that’s more personalised. It’s a nice feature to have in the Twitter toolkit.
