St. Hilda Sea Adventures offer unique taste of stunning Scottish coast

St. Hilda Sea Adventures have announced their new cruise line-up for 2017, with the brand-new Mull Experience heading their up eight cruise itinerary. The boat will take passengers to the West coast of Scotland where they will bask in the wondrous Hebrides and Argyll landscape - beautiful, unspoiled coastlines of spectacular sea lochs and stunning Highland landscapes and incredible wildlife. Anchoring in the most sheltered, idyllic places, one can visit distilleries, and world famous islands such as St Kilda, Mull, Jura, Islay, Staffa and Iona, whilst watching the wildlife, fishing or swimming in the sea lochs.

UK’s only Jute Museum among regional winners at 2016/17 Thistle Awards

Scotland’s Jute Museum @ Verdant Works has been named best Visit Attraction for the Tayside, Central region at the 2016 Thistle Awards in Edinburgh. The 5 star attraction, which was refurbished back in 2015, wins the award for the very first time. Meanwhile, the National Museum of Scotland won the prize in the Edinburgh and Lothians region, whilst Mull Eagle Watch won the Innovation Tourism award in the highlands and Islands.

This year, Edinburgh will host two festive markets: the European Christmas Market in East Princes St Gardens, opening 19 November – 7 January, and the Scottish Market at George Street open from 26 November – 24 December. The Street of Light returns this year, illuminating George Street in a canopy of stunning light synchronized to music from local artists and groups. This year’s packed theatre programme will be played out in the new Festival Square Theatre, promising magic music and more!
