Jack The Lad Magazine

Issue 43 - Autumn/Winter 2025 As we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to the Summer just yet, our Autumn Edition takes us back to the coast to relive all the highlights from one of our favourite weekends in the UK queer calendar, Brighton & Hove Pride. We keep the celebration of all things LGBTQ+ community going with a trip to the Queer Theatre Summer Showcase, talking to its founder Andrew Keates and some of the amazingly talented actors who are building an incredibly special, supportive creative environment together. We have art from Antti Eric Joronen whose immaculate pencil portraits of the male form offer an antidote to the invasion of A.I., and Sydney based photographer LUKEography returns for a follow up to his Issue 33 black and white gallery with another collection of stunning models, this time captured in beautifully rich colour. We chat to drag queen Queer Lynn about overcoming a drink and drug addiction en route to becoming the doyen of London’s cabaret and burlesque scene, and our tradition of introducing the coolest new queer musicians in town continues with our One To Watch, Be Like Milo, fresh from releasing his fantastic first EP, Broken Record. This Issue's cover boy, Qoobi Robinson, wraps things up by stepping in front of the camera to show off some of his signature styles in the latest My Style feature from photographer Tom Dingley. Get involved, make a difference, stay safe.
