Jack The Lad Magazine

Issue 42 - Summer/Autumn 2025 We’ve gone large for the Summer with a fresh new redesign for this 160 page Edition of Jack The Lad amplifying our commitment to the global queer community, whose creative talents we continue to champion through our exclusive interviews and galleries. Under the cover we introduce the phenomenal work of Berlin based artist Luke Carter before hopping over to Spain to take a look through the portfolio of male form photographer Dmitry Blinov, both galleries exclusively curated for us by these awesome artists themselves. In Northern Ireland we chat to ceramicist Dickie James about the inspiration behind his stylish and highly collectable, lycra clad retro sporting figures, plus singer/songwriter El Sam tells us how fleeing from Syria allowed him to embrace his true self, a journey he now shares through his incredible music. We capture all the fun of the latest Terrence Higgins Trust fundraiser featuring performances from stars of London’s West End theatre, plus we return to the male-art archive of Studio 71 for some more retro-erotica in a remastered collection we call Wet Dreams! With photographer Tom Dingley snapping the sexy personal style of model Henri Strauss in our regular My Style feature, that’s your queer Summer sorted!
