DIVISION TWO
THIRD-PLACED BARROW ISLAND, who will entertain Woolston Rovers on Saturday in the promotion play-off series, eased to a 36-12 victory at WIGAN ST JUDES, who had lost 24-18 in Cumbria.
The Island set the agenda by racing into a 20-0 lead with tries by Adam Jackson, Nathan Neasby, Adam Ford and Dan Wright, two of which Jackson goaled.
Judes hit back through Danny Cassidy’s conversions of touchdowns to Josh Rogerson and Connor Parkinson, but in between, Jackson dotted down for Barrow, Max Anderson-Moore adding the extras.
