NCL bosses will determine whether the result of the game between INCE ROSE BRIDGE and WATERHEAD WARRIORS - which was abandoned on 73 minutes, largely as a precautionary measure, because of concussion sustained by home player Kyle Malone - will stand.
Malone’s health was, of course, the primary consideration, while it is likely that the scoreline (26-12 to Ince) will remain on the records, given the time remaining when the contest was brought to an early conclusion.
The home side had forged a 16-0 interval lead with tries by Casey Shaw and Mason Fillingham, with Robbie Valentine landing three goals and, in his absence following a yellow card for dissent, Peter Valentine booting a penalty-goal.
