DIVISION TWO
FREESCORING WIGAN ST JUDES are on top of the table, ahead of previous leaders Shaw Cross on points’ difference, thanks to a halfcentury stroll at relegation-haunted PILKINGTON RECS.
The Recs were level on four minutes, Kyran Knapper having improved Tom Connick’s try in response to Joey Brady’s opener. Judes, though, eased to a 40-6 interval lead before notching a 56-6 triumph.
Brogan Turner led the way with a hat-trick, there was a brace for Connor Parkinson, and Brady grabbed a second score. Danny Cassidy, meanwhile, chipped in with a try and nine goals and other touchdowns went to Jacob Dugdale and Lewis Melling.
