Intel makes a move on SiFive
$2 billion apparently offered for the semiconductor startup.
SiFive, a semiconductor startup that designs RISC-V architecture, and which licenses chip and process designs, could be acquired by Intel, which is said to have offered more than $2 billion for the company, which is much higher than the $500 million it was valued at back in 2020.
