FUNCTION OVER FORM
1 The Corsair A500 is a
seriously bulky cooler, but it performs admirably even under duress, and is definitely quieter than an AIO cooler.
2 Adding a dedicated GPU to
this machine would be a simple proposition, especially a cheaper model that doesn’t require a dedicated power cable.
3 The metal “wings” and
tempered-glass panels of the Lancool II are held in place by tiny but surprisingly powerful magnets.
IT AIN’T EXCITING, but it works well. We’re impressed with the overall performance of the Intel Core i3-10100, as it handled 4K display output with zero issues. As suspected, serious gaming isn’t really an option here, but 2D indie titles should be able to run on this system if you’re ever in the mood for a little bit of light puzzling or a visual novel experience. Those UHD 630 integrated graphics have been around for years, so we didn’t really expect much.
