T ough, high-intensity workouts grab the headlines and make for easy sells, but science suggests more humble, moderate-intensity workouts remain a powerful weapon in your exercise armoury. A new study, published in the journal Medicineand ScienceinSportsandExercise, found that regular moderate-intensity exercise is better than highintensity training at burning abdominal fat, lowering blood pressure and improving blood sugar control.
