With Hornby already offering streamlined ‘A4s’ and ‘P2s’, the aesthetic theme is to be continued with a pair of LNER ‘B17/5s’. Only two of the LNER’s Class B17 ‘Sandringham’ 4‐6‐0s were modified with a streamlined casing, being converted in 1937 for use on the prestigious ‘East Anglian’ express service from London Liverpool Street to Norwich.
