BMW introduces another electric bike for 2024, the CE 02

BMW’s newest urban scooter is light, nimble and robust, and is actually fun to ride.

BMW now has two electric two wheelers in its lineup: the CE 04 that was introduced in 2022, and the allnew and more affordable CE 02. BMW is calling the CE 02 neither an electric motorcycle nor an electric scooter; in press literature, it is being touted an eParkourer. Parkour is a physical discipline in which an athlete runs, climbs, swings, and uses a multitude of other acrobatic moves to traverse an obstacle course, usually in an urban setting. So in that vein, it’s natural to assume that this new BMW scooter is designed to negotiate an urban landscape with ease. It is slender, it’s cute, and a quick ride in Cascais, Portugal, revealed that the CE 02 is quite nimble and fun to ride.
