Christine MacKay, solicitor, has taken over as managing partner of MacPhee and Partners from Duncan MacPhee, who has been in the role throughout the firm’s 22-year history from inception in 1996.
Christine is a commercial lawyer who comes from Stornoway. She lives with her husband and two children in Resipole. She previously was a partner in a central belt law firm where she acted for well-known housing developers and commercial landlords.
Duncan said: ‘All of our partners are certain that, in Christine, we have found the right person to take the firm forward. My wife and partner Rosemary and I will continue as partners for a few years yet and fully support Christine and the firm, which we hope will go from strength to strength.’
