Letterfinlay Lodge near Spean Bridge has been renamed The Whispering Pine Lodge.
An Indian hotels tycoon has bought three Highland hotels, including two in Lochaber, after a holiday visit to Scotland proved so disappointing he was determined to show how a quality hotel should really be run, writes Mark Entwistle.
The hotels are the Cluanie Inn at Glenmoriston, which retains its name, the Letterfinlay Lodge, near Spean Bridge, which has been rechristene. The Whispering Pine Lodge, and Craigard House at Invergarry, which becomes Rokeby Manor.
