The first Embraer 145 Jet to operate the Glasgow to Stornoway air route took to the skies yesterday, carrying 23 passengers and four crew.
Sporting the airline’s distinct tartan livery, the 49-seat jet will cut 18 minutes off a return service between the Western Isles and Glasgow.
Piloted by Captain Neil McHugh and First officer Hunter Mercer, the jet landed in Stornoway at 3.55pm before departing again at 4.30pm.
