AUGUST has proved to be a bumper month for visitors to the West Highland Museum in Fort William, with the attraction reporting its best week ever in almost 40 years, writes Mark Entwistle.
One of the oldest museums in the Highlands, the museum in the town’s Cameron Square first opened its doors in 1922 thanks to a group of town residents.
