Parchment Craft  |  June 2017
With so much content inside this month’s magazine I don’t know what to tell you about first! But, if you’re a traditionalist and you enjoy tracing and embossing, can I suggest that you set some time aside to create Julie Roces’ beautiful Ribbons and Lace design (page 18). It is a large decorative piece which includes beautiful butterflies and floral motifs, all elegantly embossed and capturing the long-established aspects of the craft. For a quick make card turn to page 8 to re-create a piece of white work by Kannikar Sukseree, again it’s a design that follows all of the conventional aspects of the craft, but unlike Julie’s design it can be completed in a matter of hours.
If you’re looking to produce a piece of work which will raise eyebrows, you have got to try your hand at Amanda Yeh’s Miniature Bonnets (page 34). Using grid work techniques and incorporating different patterns she’s created a fantastic collection of 3D coloured keepsakes, a project you will be really proud to show to family and friends.
And thats not all, we’ve got all of your favourite themes too; Shaped Cards, Fashion Through the Ages, Feathered Friends and From the Archives. Also not forgetting The Parchment Craft Reader Challenge! And a design for Father’s Day featuring Groovi Plates on page 40.
Have you subscribed to Parchment Craft? There are so many reasons why; each month we show you beautiful projects with detailed tutorials, plus top tips, ideas and lots of inspiration! Make sure you take advantage of our fantastic subscription offer by turning to page 24.
