Spring is the season when a lot of people move home and Home Sweet Home makes an ideal house-warming gift. We have passed the halfway mark in our block of the month programme, Hand Quilting For All. As well as completing a Sashiko block we join the first batch of blocks together. The Medallion Star Quillow, our main cover subject, shows you how to make a rather stylish quilting using those large scale prints we are often not sure how to use; fold it up and it turns into a cushion!
We also have the I Spy Playmat, which is a great quick quilt to make and should help reduce your stash! We have a feature on an essential but often unsung part of quilt making, Waddings and we spend a wonderful day out in Brittany in Entente Cordiale. Finally, there’s a review on Kaffe Fassett’s A Life in Colour exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London.

Nice ideas but geared more towards the beginner. I like it because my daughter can help. Reviewed 16 February 2020
