Patchwork and Quilting  |  May 2014
Our cover quilt this month, A Rose by any other Name, is a wonderful pieced quilt from Michael Miller Fabrics. We also feature the Town & Country quilt from a new British fabric company, Lewis and Irene. We complete the Stack and Whack Meets Celtic quilt by making the Flying Geese border and make the traditional Log Cabin block in our Sudoku Sampler. If you want a smaller project, then the Vintage Nine Patch cushion is quick and simple to make and you can raid your stash! While the Patchwork Tissue Box covers would make a delightful gift, if you can bear to give them away! Emma and Judi show you what other crafty things are on offer in Let's go shopping in Bath and Vick Guthrie introduces us to some male quilters in Men Who Quilt, and finally The Forgotten Seamstress tells us how a novel about a quilt inspired a collaboration between its author and Lynne Edwards MBE.
