Perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that someone who’s a voiceover artist in his day job should chose to release an instrumental album as his first foray into writing and performing his own music. To be fair, Matt Goodluck is also the frontman of Australian tribute act Echoes Of Pink Floyd, so he’s obviously no slouch on the vocal front, but Inner Cosmos instead unashamedly takes its stylistic cues from classic electronica and soundscape artists such as Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter and Vangelis.
