‘TEDDY BEAR’ STARS AT KWVR’S ‘RODZ DAY’: Class 14 No. D9520, visiting the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway from the Mid-Norfolk railway for the June 23-25 diesel gala, was in operation on June 3 during an event billed as ‘Rodz Day’. This featured some of the KWVR’s diesel shunter fleet running in tandem. The ‘Teddy Bear’ heads an Oxenhope-Keighley train beside the River Worth near Ingrow.

THE High Speed Train set which resides at the Nene Valley Railway and Railworld in Peterborough is due to make its preservation debut on July 8-9. A fish and chip train is planned to operate on July 8 (booking in advance essential) – and the following day will see the vehicles launched into traffic, operating four round trips of the line.
