Superbike Magazine  |  June 2014
We jumped on the 600s this month. As the manufacturers have done so little to them, we took it upon ourselves to make one choice modification, in an area we thought they lacked the required performance to match their rivals. Before 600 sports bikes, we had 750s, so we thought it was the right time to ask Roland Brown to recall his impression of the Kawasaki ZXR750. It was pretty then and it’s still pretty now, have a read and let me know what you think. Sticking to the slightly old school feel, I caught up with Oli Tennent. Oli was the main photographer at SuperBike from 1990 to 2000, he was the guy that captured the lunacy that used to go on in the superbike heyday. It’s a bumper issue, one that I’m sure you’ll enjoy. While I’ve got your attention, get yourself booked on to our SuperBike Live event at the end of June. We’ve booked Snetterton over a weekend, we have camping, track riding, beer and music. It’s set to be a proper weekend, don’t miss out!
