Exclusively on the cover, Alan Daniels and Andy Crammond share their excitement of discovering THREE Bronze Age torc bracelets on a rally in Carlisle. PLUS, Mike Thomas unearths one very similar in Wales too! Highlights in this issue include the long-awaited winners of our Nations’ Greatest Finds Competition, Lukus Merriman shares his finds from his ‘Field of Dreams’, Kevin Hopper reveals a lovely silver-gilt pilgrim’s badge and the Ninth Region MD find their ninth hoard! This month’s Field Techniques article by Neil Ham and Scott Sibbald covers ‘The battle against discrimination’, which definitely busts a few urban myths too. The Pocketmags app runs on all iPad and iPhone devices running iOS 15.6 or above, Android 8.0 or above, and Amazon Fire Tablets from 2018 onwards, though owners of earlier Fire models can check the Amazon Appstore directly on their device to confirm compatibility.

GREAT PICS AND STORIES! Reviewed 04 May 2020

The Searcher

This is a super hobby magazine, which Ive been receiving for quite a few years. Although I do not get involved as much as I used to, I still love to read other peoples successes. Keep it going. Reviewed 28 April 2020

The Searcher

Fantastic magazine and covers some fantastic finds Reviewed 11 March 2020

the best

I have been reading this magazine since the 80's and it is still the best for articles and news.
I particularly like I.D. and valuation desk along with the club reviews because they widen my knowledge of the artefacts out there in the fields of our historic country.
