Eurovision
Get ready for power ballads, dry ice and total Eurovision stage mayhem as the grand final beams in live from Liverpool, hosted by Graham Norton, BGT judge Alesha Dixon, Emmy-winning actor Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer-songwriter Julia Sanina. There are live performances from Sam Ryder and 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra, and Graham also joins Mel Giedroyc in the commentary box when he’s not on stage. But the question on everyone’s lips is: how will the UK’s Mae Muller get on?
BAFTA TV Awards
Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan host from London’s Royal Festival Hall. This Is Going to Hurt’s Ben Whishaw will go up against, among others, The Responder’s Martin Freeman and Gary Oldman (Slow Horses) for Leading Actor, while Leading Actress nominees include Kate Winslet (I Am Ruth), Imelda Staunton (The Crown) and Billie Piper (I Hate Suzie Too). Bad Sisters, Somewhere Boy, Sherwood and The Responder are up for Drama Series and EastEnders, Casualty and Emmerdale vie for Soap & Continuing Drama.
