BATH HALF
Bath: a city renowned for its Roman bathhouse, impressive abbey and grand Georgian architecture, all set amidst rolling countryside. It’s no wonder it has attracted tourists for centuries. But in its more recent history, Bath experiences an annual influx of visitors for a very different reason. Now in its 36th year, the Vitality Bath Half Marathon is a staple of the city, attracting 15,000 entrants and incredible crowd support year after year. And 2017 was no exception.
I took part in the Bath Half in 2009 as part of my prep for the London Marathon. Having fallen in love with it eight years ago, I chose it again as my pre-marathon warmup event – and I’m so pleased I did.
