The best way to get someone to understand veganism, is not only by talking to them (waves to @EarthlingEd), but by letting them see the wide variety of products, services and food that are now readily and easily available.
A vegan agnostic might be easily swayed to the light, if they are made aware of how easy it is to find plant-based alternatives to everyday items like food, toiletries, make-up and clothes. This is partly why we are seeing an upsurge in the number of vegan events. Sharing heartbreaking posts via social media might make us feel good about trying to promote the right way of living, but often, given our audiences, we are simply preaching to the converted. Also, a social media post often only grabs someone’s attention for a nanosecond, whereas an event entertains people for hours, if done well. So, why not consider holding your own? An event can help you promote your ideals, beliefs — perhaps even products — and bring together different as well as like-minded people.
