Already back in 1959, Flexo advertised in magazines such as Quarter Midget World and Rod & Custom. Both magazines published articles on what was then called go-karting and Flexo advertised a kit of parts to allow “do-it-yourself” lovers to build a kart at home. The kit consisted of six 25 mm (1 inch) pre-curved tubes to make the frame side members, the front and rear tubes, plus the seat and steering support.
