Scrolling through the pictures of the chassis for 2022-2023, one has the clear feeling that karting has finally reached its technical maturity. In past homologations, many manufacturers presented original and innovative solutions but, of those projects, nothing is left today but old or forgotten memories. In karting, details make the difference and, except in very rare cases, revolutions have never had a great following. And in a difficult historical phase such as ours, the pandemic era, evolution, rather than revolution, was the paradigm of choice. The common thread: a focus on flexible frames, mostly with 30 mm tubes, with an extremely broad range of adjustments to make the same frame as versatile as possible. Thus today the match plays out with the choice, use, and quality of materials - for tubes, accessories, on the ease of setting up and fine-tuning. Do all karts look the same?
