Wedding Flowers Magazine  |  March-April 2013
Notice anything different about your favourite wedding magazine? We’ve had a revamp and we hope you like it! From now on you can expect to see lots more of your favourite things, including inspiring moodboards, new fashion and accessory pages and DIY projects, all alongside your usual mix of flower news and trends, and the all-essential planner. We’ve also updated our celebrity pages – see some of the stars’ favourite florals and read about Kylie Minogue and Thandie Newton’s florists’ picks for the new season on page 14. For a contemporary reception look, check out the glorious feel-good brights in our neon shoot on page 18 and in our fashion story and get the look pages starting on page 54. Meanwhile, the team and I have been having a giggle about how weddings are experiencing a bit of an ‘80s/90s revival – think trailing bouquets, tropical headdresses and traditional church settings – which got us reminiscing about the weddings we attended as children, in particular those memorable puff-sleeved dresses and floral headdresses we wore as flowergirls. We’ve rounded up some of our snaps to share with you (below), but for a full gallery visit www.weddingmagazine.co.uk. Until next issue!
