A fantastic car ad – which is well worth seeking out if you haven’t seen it – once opined: “Isn’t it nice when things just work?” And if you agree with that sentiment, this issue of What Car? magazine might just be the most important of the year. You see, the results of our 2023 Reliability Survey (revealed from page 58) show that the gap between the most and least dependable cars is as big as ever, with two models suffering no faults at all but others letting down more than half of owners.
