High-dose vitamin C makes your hair healthier

High-dose vitamin C can reduce hair loss and improve the health of your hair. Taking 2,000 mg of the vitamin every day for three months reduces hair loss by more than a third and can even help hair regrow.

A team at Princeton Consumer Research tested Altrient Liposomal Vitamin C sachets on a group of 15 women, aged 21–66, who took two 1,000-mg sachets a day for 12 weeks. By the end of the trial, the women reported a 37 percent reduction in hair loss and half as many broken hairs.
