It’s been a decade since we first laid ears on the original Beyerdynamic T1s, and they have since gone on to become something of a touchstone for us as far as premium headphones go.
While there may be a strong sense of familiarity with this new 3rd-generation model, Beyerdynamic has managed to evolve its recipe to keep these cans at the cutting edge of performance at their price.
The main change over their excellent predecessors has been the move to make these headphones easier to drive for laptops and mobile devices. The old model had a 600 ohm impedance, while this new one takes that down to 32 ohms.
