Saturday, 8pm, ITV Awards After an absence of two years, the stars of Emmerdale, EastEnders, Coronation Street, Doctors and Hollyoaks gather at London’s Hackney Empire to celebrate their soap’s achievements over the past year and discover who’s won the awards voted for by fans. The glittering night is again hosted by Phillip Schofield.

With only eight weeks to raise and then launder a mountain of cash to repay sinister crime lord The Dean, the community-service offenders are nervous wrecks. After Frank, Myrna and John fail in their attempts to retrieve the money they’ve already spent, Rani decides that the only way to earn a fast buck is to become drug dealers themselves. But they’re soon out of their depth. Can they settle into their dodgy new career and will Greg be persuaded to lend a hand?

Toyah couldn’t be in a darker place right now. Not only is Imran dead, but she’s being blamed for the crash that killed him, too. Plus, her baby stepson, Alfie, has been put in emergency foster care, and Elsie’s adoption has been canned.
