SAUCONY

Hurricane 25

|| All the softness and bounce of Saucony’s PWRRUN PB foam, but with added support for runners who need a touch more guidance||

£165 | Weight 256g| Drop 6mm| Stack height 38/32mm| Foam PWRRUN PB and FRAME Tech CenterPath|saucony.com| Tester Laura

Saucony is queen of the run shoe, with many thousands of aficinados up and down the country, waiting for the annual new releases as eagerly as they would a new baby in the family. Let’s see what Laura thought of this newbie Saucony support shoe.

The fit

The shoe is true to size but I’d also add that it has something of a generous and more accommodating fit than others I’ve tested. The toe box has good space for a natural foot splay, and the midfoot lockdown feels secure thanks to a well-structured lacing system. The heel collar is padded without being bulky, and holds the foot nicely in place.

The comfort

The Hurricane 25 has a pillowy, plush step-in feel with noticeable bounce from the PWRRUN PB foam. The wide base feels stable without being intrusive, and the upper wraps securely without producing any painful pressure points. It’s the kind of shoe that feels reassuring underfoot on long runs or recovery days.
