The Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year Competition 2017 is open for entries.
The competition, which is supported by the University of Kent at Canterbury, awards The University of Kent prize of £200 for the winner, who will be named Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year. There‘s a prize of £100 for the second-placed poet and £50 for the third. There is also a £25 People‘s Choice prize, and a bottle of sparkling wine for the Best Read poem. Winners and longlisted poets will be published in an anthology.
