Frostbrite film and white printed film, from £30, The Window Film Company
Q
I’d like to update my conservatory, and I’m fed up with the old-fashioned blinds which we inherited from the previous owners. Are there any more modern alternatives that I could look at? I don’t have a huge budget so can’t really afford to spend a fortune.

Micky Calcott, Managing Director of The Window Film Company UK Ltd, has this suggestion…
Although blinds and curtains are both popular options for conservatories, they can be pricey, so why not think about updating your space with window film instead? Our plain Frostbrite film is idea for conservatories as well as patio or French doors, as it provides privacy without blocking out valuable light. Consider applying plain frosted film along the bottom half of windows, then adding bands at the top for added interest. It’s quick and easy to apply, and there are hundreds of different designs to choose from.
