AIR CANADA has implemented several measures as part of its ‘COVID-19 Mitigation and Recovery Plan’ in an effort to weather the pandemic’s financial storm.
The flag carrier will phase out 79 airframes, comprising the Airbus A319ceo, Boeing 767 and Embraer E190 – helping to reduce the cost structure at the same time as limiting its future environmental footprint. The Montréal-headquartered firm has, meanwhile, made changes to its orderbook.
