AVELO AIRLINES has announced a shake-up to its winter 2023/2024 schedule, with a number of routes suspended or removed altogether.
The ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) will seasonally suspend seven routes from Wilmington to Charleston, Daytona Beach, Greenville/Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Raleigh/Durham, and Savannah. Additionally, the link to Melbourne/Cocoa Beach in Florida will be permanently removed. The only services that remain yearround are Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, San Juan and Tampa. Flights from Wilmington were launched in February 2023, and since then, more 200,000 passengers have travelled through the airport.
